The Nitrogen Forum is a discussion site for the open exchange of information, opinions and dialogue about the importance and impact of Nitrogen in agriculture and the environment. It originated to address the need for independent, scientifically based discussions about both the benefits and impacts of anthropogenic N. Its goal is to promote an active discussion of ways in which we can reduce the amount of N being introduced into the environment, while at the same time addressing the need for maintaining advances in crop yields and production.It is our goal to provide a forum where producers, researchers, policy makers and the interested public can learn about the role of nitrogen in modern agriculture and the associated impacts of N.
